Welcome to MySmartHomeApp.com (“Platform”, “Service”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).
By creating an account, accessing, or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
1. Service Description
MySmartHomeApp provides a cloud-based smart home dashboard that allows users to connect, monitor, and control compatible third-party smart home systems and devices.
Features may include:
- Device monitoring
- Smart home automation
- Energy monitoring
- Calendar integrations
- Vehicle integrations
- Smart device control
- Wall display dashboards
- Mobile and web applications
We may add, modify, or remove features at any time.
2. User Accounts
You must:
- Provide accurate information
- Keep login credentials secure
- Be responsible for all activity under your account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account.
3. Subscription Services
Certain features require a paid subscription.
Subscriptions:
- Are billed in advance.
- Renew automatically unless cancelled.
- Can be cancelled at any time.
Where we offer a free trial, the trial automatically converts to a paid, auto-renewing subscription at the end of the trial period unless you cancel beforehand. The trial duration and the price that applies after it are shown at sign-up.
Fees are non-refundable except where required by Australian Consumer Law.

4. Third-Party Integrations
The Platform may connect to third-party services including but not limited to:
- Tesla
- SmartThings
- Sungrow
- Tuya
- Eufy
- Amazon Alexa / Google Assistant
Some of these integrations are available today and others are planned; the current list and status are shown on our website. We do not own or control these services.
Availability, functionality, or access may change without notice if third-party providers modify their APIs or services.
5. Device Control Disclaimer
The Platform may allow remote control of connected devices.
You acknowledge:
- Commands are sent electronically.
- Device response may be delayed or unavailable.
- We are not responsible for damage, injury, loss, or interruption caused by connected devices or third-party services.
Always ensure critical systems are independently monitored.
6. Energy and Monitoring Data
Energy consumption, solar production, battery status, and other monitoring data are provided for informational purposes only.
We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or availability of such data.
Official utility billing and device manufacturer data remain the authoritative source.
7. Acceptable Use
You must not:
- Attempt unauthorized access.
- Reverse engineer the Platform.
- Interfere with Platform security.
- Use the Platform for unlawful purposes.
- Distribute malware or malicious code.
- Create multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits or pricing.
- Share a single connected integration account (for example Tesla, Sungrow, SmartThings, or Tuya) across more than one MySmartHomeApp account.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Connected Account Integrity
A connected integration account may only be linked to one MySmartHomeApp account at a time. If an integration is already linked to another account, we may block it from being re-registered, and additional verification may be required to transfer ownership. 8. Intellectual Property
All software, designs, branding, content, and technology associated with MySmartHomeApp remain our property.
No rights are granted except those necessary to use the Service.
9. Service Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation.
The Platform may experience:
- Maintenance periods
- Internet outages
- Third-party service disruptions
- Software defects
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
MySmartHomeApp shall not be liable for:
- Loss of data
- Loss of profits
- Device failures
- Smart home automation failures
- Property damage
- Business interruption
- Indirect or consequential losses
Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by you during the preceding twelve (12) months.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts:
- For breach of these terms
- For fraudulent activity
- To comply with legal requirements
You may terminate your account at any time.
12. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria and the courts competent to hear appeals from them. This does not limit any rights you have under the laws of the place where you live that cannot be excluded.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time.
Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
